Tips to follow-up on a job interview without being annoying

A week before, you interviewed for a job and haven’t heard anything from them. You have to follow them and find what’s going on? Therefore, it can be challenge to follow up without being annoying. You have to handle each and every situation carefully. Here are some ways to follow up your job search without being annoying.

1) First of all schedule your follow up and give some reason for doing it. It’s completely fine to touch base and remind them of the time table they gave you. try to reach someone until you don’t have good reason for doing so.

2) you become annoying if you repeatedly ask for the same thing. So you have to add some ideas, referral that will make it interesting to the other person.

3) Always send a thank you note, appreciate them and value their time. Appreciation make them less annoying.

4) Sometime short and polite email works. It’s pretty simple and effective. With this you reminding them that they forgot to do something . You will make your note according to the situation. Sometime it can be little awkward to ask for an update, as it feels you are asking for bad news but it’s always the case. In case if you get bad news there are other job opportunities.
